Worship & Music

Adult Choir

Rehearsals are every Thursday evening at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary.  All voices (bass, tenor, alto, soprano) are encouraged to come and help fill our choir loft.  We have twenty-six chairs to fill!

Handbell Choir for teens and adults

Join us in the Narthex for bells rehearsal Thursdays at 6:00 p.m.  The ability to read music is helpful but not required.

 Readers of Sunday Lessons

We need volunteers for each service to read the scripture lessons and prayer petitions.  A sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board in the Narthex.

Cantor

Merriam-Webster's definition:   a synagogue official who sings or chants liturgical music and leads the congregation in prayer

Contact Pastor Will if you would like to serve as cantor for our worship services.

Greeters

We need volunteers to serve as greeters for each service.

Ushers

We need four volunteers to usher at each service.  Won't you help us out?  You have the option of signing up for one Sunday or several Sundays.  A sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board in the Narthex.  Please answer with a "Yes!" when our Usher Coordinator calls on you to serve.

Acolytes & Crucifers

We need volunteers to serve as acolyte or crucifer for church services.  A sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board in the Narthex.

Altar Flowers

SIGN UP ON THE FLOWER CHART!!  There are many blank lines (i.e., opportunities for you to sponsor a vase of flowers)

Dedicate an arrangement for Sunday in memory or in honor of someone and take it home after the worship service.  Arrangements may be purchased for $20.  The Flower Sign-up chart and dedication forms are available in the narthex; after you have filled in the information, turn in the form at the office or drop it in the offering plate.  Arrangements also may be purchased without a dedication, if you wish.
